L. G. Herndon Jr Farms, Inc is a family owned and operated business. Bo Herndon started the farm in 1978 with a small piece of land and one simple tractor. Over the course of 45 years, the operation has grown to where we now farm 5,000 acres with multiple packing facilities and year-round supply of many of our items. Our team is made up of 50 full-time employees, including 10 family members. Between daughters, a son-in-law, nieces, and nephews, we are entrenched in a rich family history, while continuing to look toward future generations to build and expand the farm. To us, working this farm is more than just a job – it’s an investment in our family’s future and the customers we serve.

Today, Herndon Farms is recognized as a leader in multiple categories in the produce industry and have no plans of slowing down. We strive to maintain a reputation of high-quality and consistency that has come to define the “Herndon” name.
